23.1 Endoscopic ultrasound (mechanical radial) of distal esophageal adenocarcinoma stage T3N1

A round hypoechoic lymph node is identified in the mediastinum above the aortic arch in a patient with adenocarcinoma of the distal esophagus. The needle is seen to penetrate the lymph node and an aspirate is taken for cytology, which was positive for adenocarcinoma.
